Happy New Year and Apology for Delays
Reginald Titus Jr.: Happy New Year's everybody. It's about 29 days late. Hey, this is Reginald Titus from Filmmaker Commentary. Hey, man, I just wanted to quickly reach out to you guys and say thank you for your patience. Thanks for being great listeners. Uh, shout out to Reginald Garrett who reached out to us just to be like, "Hey, is everything all right, guys?" We should have did a better job of informing you, our listeners, that we are still going to be recording our Filmmaker Commentary episodes. We have not gone anywhere. We should have just given you a better update on what we were doing or not going to do. Um, we took, you know, took a quick break during the holidays. Uh, but it just took a little longer than we anticipated. What we've been working on is of course our film, uh, which we'll talk about. Once it's released, we'll talk about it a lot more, but it's kind of taken over our life and we're, you know, we're at the distribution phases of that. So a lot of interesting things are happening right now.

Upcoming Episodes and 2019 Content
Reginald Titus Jr.: But any rate, I wanted to reach out to you guys. Thank you for being great listeners. Just thank you for all the support and and all that. With that being said, when this drops, which will be on Thursday, if you're checking this out on on the 30th, we'll have, we do have some episodes that we recorded from 2019. So we have like three episodes left. They just never, I just never uploaded those episodes. So, we have three episodes that will be dropping, the first one dropping tomorrow, on Thursday. Then right after that, you'll see a couple of more episodes that just kind of drop back to back. And that's just to catch us up so that we're more current. With that being said, our first episode of 2020 will be the episode of School Daze with a commentary by Spike Lee. Uh, that'll be perfect for Black History Month.

2020 Plans and Listener Engagement
Reginald Titus Jr.: And um, and if y'all have some ideas on films you would like us to cover, don't, hey, feel free to reach out. Um, you know, we're available. We have our personal information out there. So hey, reach out to LinkedIn, wherever you can grab us at, you know, on Facebook, Instagram. Just reach out to us. Hit us in the DM, just be like, "Hey, check out this film," or "Have y'all, I would like y'all to check this film out," um, etc. Some some more things that are going to be happening throughout the 2020 year. Of course, we're going to be launching the website, we're going to be doing interviews, and also if y'all are still into DVDs and Blu-rays, as far as like collectors, I am kind of reducing my catalog. So anybody that's listening, if y'all are into DVDs, Blu-rays, I'm going to be giving out my collection.

DVD Collection Giveaway and Sign-off
Reginald Titus Jr.: You know, just as a thank you, because what happens is sometimes you'll end up, I've I've end up with like duplicates. Like I have some of the same movies that I forgot about, and I'll go buy another one because we're going to cover a movie. And then turns out, I already have a DVD version of that and I'll get a Blu-ray. So my goal, I do have a lot of DVDs, and my goal is to like get just a complete Blu-ray collection and kind of get rid of all my DVDs. Sometimes these companies don't do a Blu-ray version and the DVD version is sometimes all of the physical media that's currently available. Thank you again. This is Filmmaker Commentary. Uh, shout out to Casey G. Smith. Uh, we'll be back rocking and rolling through February. Until then, check in the new the next three episodes. They're going to be a little bit dated. So when you when we get to the news section, that's why it's uh, it's 2019 news. Uh, but I think some of the stuff is still cool and still relevant, especially some of the the newer movies we were watching at that time. Uh, but any rate, appreciate that, guys, and listen to us soon enough. I'm Reginald, signing off.
